Does staff stay for the whole event?
Yes. At mass events the operation is continuous and shift-based, not a maintenance visit. Headcount and rotation are set by attendance, number of units and the event’s operating hours.
Can it be hired without renting units?
It is a group service and is usually contracted together with the units, because the log and the frequency coordinate better under one supplier. A staff-only scope is quoted case by case.
